What is the significance of different rose colors?

Each rose color carries its own meaning: red symbolizes love and passion, pink represents admiration and gratitude, and yellow conveys friendship and joy. White roses signify purity and innocence, orange expresses enthusiasm and desire, and lavender stands for enchantment. Not sure which to choose? Our South Florals florists are happy to help you pick the perfect color for your message or occasion.

How long do roses typically last?

With proper care, cut roses can last 5 to 14 days. The type of rose, its environmental conditions, and care practices can definitely influence the longevity. It’s important to properly care for your floral arrangement, such as changing the water regularly. If your roses start to wilt, you can remove any wilted petals and leaves to improve air circulation.

Can I make roses last longer?

To make your roses last longer, change the water every two to three days using room-temperature water, and re-cut the stems at an angle with sharp scissors. Keep them in a cool spot away from direct sunlight, and they’ll stay happy! For care tips on other flowers and plants, visit the care instructions on the South Florals website.

Will the bouquet of roses look just like the picture?

Our product photos show the front of each arrangement with flowers in peak bloom, so your flowers may vary slightly in markings, stems, and color. We always do our best to select blooms that match your request. Plus, with our "See What You Send" program, we'll email you a photo of your exact arrangement right before it leaves with our delivery driver.

Can you customize my rose bouquet?

Yes, of course! Our South Florals florists across all stores can customize your rose bouquet, from the type and color of roses to the arrangement style, and some may even add complimentary flowers or greenery. Just share your preferences or theme with the florist, and they’ll create a personalized arrangement for you.

Does South Florals offer delivery services for roses?

Yes. Here at South Florals, we offer both floral arrangements and plant delivery throughout South Florida. If you need premium roses delivered by a specific time, we do charge an additional fee. You can find these options shown at checkout.

Can I place an order for same-day delivery?

Yes, any orders placed by 2 pm can be delivered on the same day by the end of business hours. You can also request expedited delivery at checkout. Make sure to review the options before you enter your payment details. You can also reach out to our team with any other questions about your order's delivery times.

What if no one is home when the delivery arrives?

If the recipient isn’t available at the time of delivery, the gift may be left with a neighbor or in a safe place. A note can also be left on the door directing the recipient to call and schedule a redelivery. In some cases, the florist may contact the recipient.
